Personal Hotspot limited to three devices with Wi-Fi

engadget.com The website showed a restricted document to the employees of AT & T, 's phone operator U.S. mobile until a few months ago had the exclusive iPhone. The document shows all the news of the new update iOS 4.3 for the iPhone compatible with this new software version.

According to the document, however, the iPhone will support the functionality of 4 Personal Hotspot limited to only three devices.
During the event, presenting the new iPhone 4 compatible with CDMA networks, which occurred before the release of the first beta iOS 4.3, Verizon was the first to announce a new feature of Personal Hotspot, but declared you can connect to the iPhone up to 5 Wi-Fi.
Such a discrepancy is due to the fact that, in reality, the new firmware will actually be able to support up to 5 simultaneous connections. As stated at the official site Apple, however, only 3 will be able to communicate over the Wi-Fi, and the remaining two through the slower Bluetooth connection.
The functionality of the Personal Hotspot will connect all the devices that the iPhone does not have 3G connectivity (such as the iPad Wi-Fi or iPod touch), so that they can access the Web.
We'll see which operator provide the functionality of Personal Hotspot here in Italy, and especially at what price, to be able to compare with the American market.
